Connect your WordPress site

Sign in to WordPress and approve NewsFeed. WordPress creates a separate, revocable publishing credential; your normal password is never shared.

Install the signed NewsFeed Connector and enter the one-time code shown here. The plugin creates a limited publishing user and sends its revocable credential directly to NewsFeed.

Why this and not my regular password? Application Passwords are a built-in WordPress feature (WP 5.6+, 2020). They're scoped tokens you can revoke any time without changing your login. Most security plugins also block REST API calls that use real passwords.

Log in to your WordPress admin (https://yourfirm.com/wp-admin/).
In the sidebar click Users → Profile, or jump to https://yourfirm.com/wp-admin/profile.php.
Scroll all the way to the bottom. The last section is Application Passwords.
In the "New Application Password Name" field, type NewsFeed and click Add New Application Password.
WordPress shows a 24-character password split into 6 groups. Copy it now — WordPress only shows it once.
Paste it into the field above. Spaces or no spaces, either works.

Don't see Application Passwords? WordPress is older than 5.6 (ask your host to update) OR a security plugin (Wordfence, iThemes/Solid) has disabled them — turn the feature back on or whitelist clients.bosseo.com.

We'll send your developer the full WordPress setup steps with a link back to this portal. They paste the Application Password and you're done.

When your next article is approved, you'll get an email with the full rendered HTML and a portal link with a one-click copy button. Just paste it into a new post on your site and publish.
